Find out more about our super organized Director of Films Management and Festival Operations.

What’s your role on the TSAFF board?

I am the Director, Films Management and Festival Operations.

How long have you been with TSAFF?

This will be my 3rd year working with TSAFF

What’s one thing that stands out as a highlight from the past few years?

Selling out the Gala event in 2017!

What’s the most challenging part of running a charity film festival?

Wanting to spend more time on the work, but needing to balance it with my full-time job.

What’s the most rewarding thing about being part of TSAFF?

I’ve always enjoyed running events, so knowing that I’m running one that is making a positive impact on people’s lives in South Africa makes it that much more special.

How did you get involved with TSAFF?

I volunteered as an usher at the Vancouver South African Film Festival a few times and when I moved to Toronto, I decided to offer my time to the TSAFF committee to help with the planning of the festival.

What’s your day job?

I work in Talent & Leadership Development as a Project Coordinator.

What do you do in your spare time? Any interesting hobbies?

Irish Dancing is something I have been doing for many years, and I’ve been lucky enough to find a wonderful group to dance within Toronto.  I also enjoy cycling and am attempting my first Triathlon later this year.

What is your one wish for a future TSAFF event?

There are a few well known South Africans in the film and TV industry, so it would be pretty special if Charlize Theron, Trevor Noah or Sharlto Copley could attend the festival.
